Canvas of the Street?

A lot of people gripe about graffiti. They consider it at best a nuisance and at worst property damage. I tend to vary in opinion depending on the circumstance. Being artistically slanted, I find some of the "art" produced by taggers and their ilk compelling if only for aesthetic reasons. The more basic forms of graffiti (i.e. "for a good time call" and "_____ sucks!") are obviously stupid and obtrusive. Occasionally though, someone with a glimmer of intelligence and wit does something like this.

  • I find there's nothing like seeing a train covered in street tags. I mean those hobos and gangs sure know what they're doing with their art in between drinking aftershave and shooting each other. All that aside, one of the most important messages of our time is now out there. Someone needed to step up and say "Hammertime needs to stop." In fact, it never should have started.
